Mary Grady, freelance writer

I write mainly about aviation, nature, travel, and science. Before becoming a freelancer, I worked as an editor for The Providence Journal and the National Geographic Society. I've sailed with tall ships in the Caribbean, flown hot-air balloons in California, studied environmental science in Hawaii, and crewed aboard a NOAA research ship in the north Atlantic.
